iYan is a multi-user AI agent platform with persistent memory, a knowledge vault, kanban task management, and expert sub-agents. It remembers context across conversations, organizes your documents, and adapts to your workflow through specialized AI personas.

iYan stores key information from your conversations, decisions, and tasks in a structured memory system. When you return, it recalls previous context so you never have to repeat yourself. Your memory is private and scoped to your account.

Expert sub-agents are specialized AI personas — Developer, Product Owner, HR, SEO, Accountant, and Artist — each trained with domain-specific knowledge. Switch between them depending on the task at hand for more accurate and relevant assistance.

The Knowledge Vault is your personal document repository. Upload PDFs, create markdown notes, and search across everything with AI-powered retrieval. iYan indexes your vault so it can reference your own materials when answering questions or completing tasks.

RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) is a technique that grounds AI responses in your own documents. When you ask a question, iYan searches your Knowledge Vault and memory for relevant context, then feeds that context to the AI model alongside your question. This means answers are based on your real data — not just the model's training knowledge. iYan combines RAG with persistent memory so context carries across conversations.

Yes. The Free plan includes 50 requests per day, 100 MB of workspace storage, 50 MB of embeddings, and access to all sub-agents and core tools. You can upgrade to Pro or Max anytime when you need more capacity.

You can upgrade from the billing section inside the iYan app. Choose between Pro ($12.99/month or $120/year) and Max ($54.90/month or $550/year). Upgrades apply immediately and your new limits are active right away.

Currently, iYan is available through the Web interface. Support for Slack, Telegram, and Terminal via agents (such as opencode) is coming soon. Once available, your conversations and memory will sync across all channels.

iYan is not open-source. If you want to host it yourself, contact us for an Enterprise license. We provide the Docker image with security updates, documentation, and support. Under certain conditions in the Enterprise plan, you can also get access to the source code.
